TMF (The Music Factory) was a television channel music and entertainment in the UK and Ireland . The channel owned by MTV Networks Europe . It was created to compete with The Hits (now 4Music) through a new digital TV service opened, Freeview.

After the release, the TMF has been described as "TMF is assigned to rhythm for the whole family, showing the best clips with major pop pop stars to become the soundtrack of British family life." However, TMF also exhibited channel programs siblings MTV , VH1 , Nick Jr. and Comedy Central , not only displaying video clips.

TMF was broadcast by Freeview, Sky Digital, Virgin Media, UPC Ireland and some Irish cable systems. The channel was the most watched realação the music channels, according to indexes BARB.

In 2009, the channel was terminated and was replaced by British version of VIVA , the VIVA UK . The last clip was displayed by TMF Million Dollar Bill by American singer Whitney Houston .
