It's not official yet but several sources, Daft Punk would be engaged to play the surprise guests at the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony in New York on 25 August 2013.
The information spread like wildfire on the Web: the duo Daft Punk Frenchy might make an appearance "surprise" at the 30th annual MTV Video Music Awards, scheduled at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Sunday, August 25, 2013. This is at least what the U.S. media reported.
Initially, Daft Punk were playing live their hit "Get Lucky" 6 August in a well-known television show in the United States, The Colbert Report (aired on Comedy Central). But the French group declined the invitation at the last minuteen due to another commitment vis-à-vis another channel MTV to not name.
This is the host Stephen Colbert, who spilled the beans on the small screen: "Apparently, Daft Punk will make a surprise appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards Do not tell anyone, because hey, it's fun.: nobody had told me there are two hours, "said the star of the satirical show live.
The question under what circumstances will this apparition "surprise" of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, aka Daft Punk , and if the pair will live or be limited to a single appearance. It appears in any case it is highly probable that the two musicians helmeted should leave be in New York on August 25, along with other expected during the MTV VMA 2013 stars: Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Katy Perry ...
